Ligal Sofer

For some years now, Ligal Sofer has been exploring the secrets of music from the East, on his journeys in India, Turkey, Greece and, naturally, Israel. He studied at the Center for Middle Eastern Classical Music in Jerusalem, and performs in a range of ensembles, including Turkish folk groove music band Keimak, and the Somak Trio which plays original acoustic material inspired by the Ancient East.
