The Museum for Islamic Art - Full TourGuided tours of the iconic Jerusalem building which was built as a museum of Islamic art. It is a modernist stone structure with local elements (such as arches and narrow vertical windows) which was built as a museum in the heart of a residential district by Mrs. Vera Bryce Salomons. The idea was to present the world’s best collections of Islamic art, and with the aim of bringing the people of the region closer together. In the Footsteps of TimeA tour of the enormous dimly lit safe which holds the museum’s permanent display – Sir David Salomons’s clock collection, one of the world’s three most important clock collections.
